The International Liquid Crystal Conference (ILCC) have been held biennially, under the sponsorship of the International Liquid Crystal Society since 1965. 
In 2022 the conference will happen in Lisbon, from 24 to 29 July, jointly by the International Liquid Crystal Society (ILCS), the NOVA School of Science & Technology (NOVA), the University of Lisbon (UL), the School of Engineering of the Lisbon Polytechnic Institute (ISEL) and the Portuguese Liquid Crystals Society (PLCS).
The ILCC2022 will take place in a hybrid format, allowing on-site and online participation.
The event is supported by Turismo de Portugal and Lisbon Convention Bureau, under the programme Portugal Events.
