The Vila Galé Albacora hotel is the result of the rehabilitation of the former Arraial Ferreira Neto. This hotel in Tavira, right in the heart of the Ria Formosa Natural Park, is an architectural testimony to the fishermen way of life. In this complex, houses, workshops and fishing warehouses gave way to 162 rooms, overlooking the “ria”. This is now an eco-hotel, whose environmental sustainable practices have earned prizes and distinctions. Ecotourism and outdoor activities, such as bird watching, boating or extreme sports are a great way to take full advantage of this destination.

With a collection of over 250,000 pieces linked to the theatre, this Museum is located in Monteiro-Mor Palace, an 18th-century building that has been adapted for this purpose.
The first attempts to create a museum focused on the performing arts date back to the early 20th century, but only in 1979 did these plans come to life. The space was officially created in 1982 and inaugurated in 1985.
