The Eurostars Universal Lisboa is a recently inaugurated design hotel designed for a luxurious stay. It is located in the modern neighborhood of Parque das Nações, where the Expo was held in 1998, the main theme of which was the oceans. That is why the hotel is conceptually inspired by the wind rose, symbolized by an inner courtyard around which the wind blows, welcoming guests as if they were maritime travelers.

The 4th. International Caparica Conference on Pollutant Toxic Ions and Molecules will take place from October 31 to November 4, in Costa da Caparica (municipality of Almada, Lisbon Region). The conference will focus on the consequences of pollutants (organic, inorganic, ionic or neutral) on human health and on the planet. Organized by the Proteomass Scientific Society, the event is supported by Turismo de Portugal and Turismo de Lisboa, under the M&I Portugal Program.
