TAP launched four new destinations in June: Toronto, Stuttgart, Gran Canaria and Alicante, the airline announced. The company's goal is to go forward with its expansion in the American and Spanish markets, which already represent 10% of TAP's total network traffic.

Thus, with the flight to Toronto, Canada, TAP now has six routes to North America, "a market to where TAP transported more than 633,000 passengers last year, corresponding to an increase of 122% facing the previous year," according to a statement from the airline. These flights take place five times a week.To Stuttgart, Germany, TAP has set up a twice a day operation, with the airline also starting in July its flights to Cologne, in a total of 108 weekly flights to this country, what could exceed the one million passengers in one year milestone in 2017.Regarding Spain, both Gran Canaria and  Alicante have now daily flights, in an operation representing an offer increase of 24%.
