Ryanair chooses Porto as a base for 20 routes

Ryanair has chosen Porto as the base for 20 flight connections, meaning that from 3rd January 2018 passengers will be able to use the airline's service, which is already operating in Rome (Fiumicino) and Milan (Bergamo), in the Portuguese city.
Among origin destinations are cities like Barcelona, Bologna, Brussels, Dortmund and Dusseldorf, connected via Porto to other Portuguese cities (Faro, Lisboa, Ponta Delgada, Terceira) and some international ones. In addition, passengers travelling to Madrid, Milan Malpensa, Dusseldorf Weeze, Mallorca and Valencia also go through Francisco Sá Carneiro airport.
Those who choose this service will be entitled to a transfer within the restricted airport area, without having to leave, to luggage check in directly to the final destination and to a single reservation reference between the two flights, Ryanair explained in a statement.
