Ponta Delgada opens Casino

Ponta Delgada has already opened its first casino in the Azores with more than 200 games and 51 machines, in a partnership with 5-star hotel Azor.

The concessionaire company is Romanti S.A., since 2014, and the bases for opening of the establishment were launched in 2003.

It has a bar, lounge, live music, among other things. Previously, the region had a game room in Terceira Island.

The casino was launched based on a proportion of the number of gaming machines similar to those that exist in Madeira, Lisboa and Estoril.
