On September 15th, the Lisbon Congress Center (CCL) hosted the international medical workshop “Update on General and Family Medicine”, promoted by the Spanish company Live Med Arena. This was the first in-person event at CCL, after a 6-month break, caused by Covid-19 pandemic.
More than 180 family medicine doctors and dozens of suppliers were present, in full compliance with all the safety measures defined by the Directorate-General for Health, namely the mandatory use of a mask, hand hygiene, distance signs and circulation paths, etc.
Manuel Garcial Abad, from Live Med Iberia highlighted “the enthusiasm, among the doctors present, for being able to return trustingly to an in-person event”.
