The Associação Turismo de Cascais - Visitors and Convention Bureau has shared, on its website, a Manual of Recommendations, specifically directed to events and in-person/face-to-face meetings post-Covid 19.
This manual was developed as a response to the need to ensure simple, clear and accurate information for the client, in order to encourage him to plan his meetings and events.
The document addresses several aspects inherent to the organization of events and face-to-face meetings, namely program planning, entries to the venue, space management, rooms, cleaning and sanitary areas, catering, transfers, sustainability, as well as guidelines for specific activities, such as showcases, brand activations, sales and exhibition areas. General procedures were also incorporated, following the regulations of the Government’s Health Department.
The manual was developed by an interdisciplinary team, composed by event technology managers, venues, OPC’s, event companies, transfers, catering and hotels, with the support of Cascais Tourism Association - Visitors & Convention Bureau.
