The congress, organised by Centro Português de Geo-História e Pré-História (Portuguese Centre of Geo-History and Prehistory), takes place between May 29th and June 1st 2018, in Lisboa, at the Biblioteca Nacional de Portugal. It is divided in thematic sessions, which reflect the various aspects of the congress : the origin and evolution of birds; Man and birds and the paleoenvironmental and environmental issues related to birds.
