The Cascais Marina assumes its role as an international stage of events and as a welcoming and leisure area for visitors. It has recently hosted major events such as the ISAF World Sailing Championship 2007, the 49ers European Championship, QuebraMar Regatta, Cowes-Cascais, Round Portugal Sailing Tour, Portugal Match Cup, His Majesty the King Juan Carlos I Trophy, among many other competitions that have helped to publicise the Cascais Marina both nationally and internationally.
