The oldest Casa de Fados in Lisbon, since 1927, is located in the increasingly cosmopolitan Bairro Alto. It has adapted to the austere beauty of the vaulted space of the old cellars in the Brito Freire Palace (17th century). To be renovated in 2017, the cast integrates several Fado singers’ generations. Gastronomy is of Portuguese origin. Fado singer Celeste Rodrigues performs every Friday and Saturday.
