Portugal Health Passport available to all tourists

The Portugal Health Passport is now available to all tourists visiting Portugal, as announced, on August 3, by the executive director of Health Cluster Portugal, Joaquim Cunha.
Its scope has also been broadened, both geographically, extending to the entire country, and to the level of services provided, including Covid-19 tests and access to care in private health services, in the networks of hospitals and clinics from CUF, Hospital da Luz, HPA Saúde and Lusíadas.
According to the president of Turismo de Portugal, Luís Araújo, it’s another initiative that aims to “restore the confidence of tourists and boost the recovery of the sector”, portraying “a tourist offer that observes strict hygiene protocols”, complementary to “an offer of high quality medical and hospital services.”
The Portugal Health Passport platform was created in August 2019, by Turismo de Portugal and Health Cluster Portugal, being initially developed for the UK market, integrated in the campaign “#Brelcome - Portugal Will Never Leave You”.
Now available to tourists of all nationalities, this “health passport” can be requested, free of charge, on the website www.portugalhealthpassport.com.
