Regarding cities, Barcelona holds the first place, with 195 events held in 2017, surpassing Paris and Vienna. Berlin, London, Madrid, Singapore, Madrid, Prague, Lisbon and Seoul follow the top 3 cities. The Portuguese capital ended 2017 with 149 meetings.

Cascais climbed 26 places in the ranking, now occupying the 108th. In 2016, Cascais held the 134th position. The city hosted 24 meetings in 2017.

Porto now ranks 34th, with 68 events held, and Coimbra received 10 meetings, holding the 133rd position. Faro and Funchal occupy ex-aequo the 358th place in the world ranking of cities, while Ponta Delgada features in the 406th place.

In the country ranking, Portugal occupies the 11th position, with 298 events, in a list led by the United States of America, Germany and the United Kingdom.

This ranking considers events that take place on a rotational basis between countries, and with an audience of at least 50 participants.
