Five star hotels' average price in Lisbon higher than 200 euros

The five-star units of the Portuguese capital reached last September, for the first time, an average price above 200 euros, according to Observatório do Turismo de Lisboa data, quoted by Presstur.
Four and three star hotels also hit record prices, higher than 100 and 80 euros, respectively.
Compared to 2016, these prices reflect an increase of over 20% in the three concerned categories. In the first nine months of 2017, five-star hotels made an average of 120.5 euros per available room. The four stars reached 73.28 euros and three stars 58.86 euros.
These data also show that increases were registered despite the number of rooms expansion in Lisboa, with a growth of around 4%, or 730 rooms, in the three analysed categories to approximately 18,800.
