Beijing Airlines connects China to Portugal

Chinese airline Beijing Capital Airlines of the Hainan Group (HNA) has launched a new route connecting Beijing to Lisbon in partnership with ANA - Aeroportos de Portugal and Turismo de Portugal, according to a statement from the Portuguese airports manager.The flight will take place three times a week, starting on July 26thfrom Hangzhou city, stopping over in Beijing and then on to Lisbon. Beijing Airlines is currently launching the Beijing - Macau route, also is an important flight for Lisbon.The flights will take place on IATA summer season on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays in an A330-200 plane with 260 seats. In winter the frequency will be reinforced, with one more flight on Sundays.
In a statement, ANA highlighted that "by the end of 2017, around 40,560 seats will be made available. Over the next year the operation is expected to continue with four weekly frequencies, offering approximately 76,800 in 2018."
