Torres Vedras LabCenter already has over 3 thousand users since its inauguration in May 2017.
This is a project developed by Torres Vedras City Council, which also involves a protocol signed with ISCTE-IUL (Lisbon University Institute) and memoranda of understanding with other entities, among them Leiria Polytechnic Institute, the Institute of Employment and Vocational Training, training centres and a robotics school club.
This LabCenter is located in the historical centre of Torres Vedras, constituting itself as a pole of aggregation and cooperation, and focusing especially in the areas of innovation / knowledge, science and economics. It integrates several skills, namely: a digital manufacturing laboratory (FabLab), a business incubator and workshops of innovation and knowledge. It also has small meeting rooms, an auditorium with capacity for up to 50 people and a multipurpose room.
