Kenes Group invests in the Portuguese market

Kenes Group, a Professional Conference Organiser (PCO) and Association Management Company (AMC) of Israeli origin and based in Geneva and Tel Aviv has expanded its activity to Portugal, after the country entered the top 10 of ICCA's ranking.
The company explained in a statement that the strategy involves its local partner in Portugal, World Portugal Concept, a Destination Management Company (DMC). "With impressive customer conferences happening in Portugal annually, the Kenes group has sought a more personalised approach in this location," says the same document, which mentions the sector's growth in the country, translating into its current position in ICCA's ranking. The Israeli group also points out that the country has improved in economic terms.
DMC Worth Portugal Concept has worked with the Kenes group in various events and operations and quickly both companies concluded that it would be advantageous to deepen their connection.
With this partnership, there are already a total of 10 companies joining the representatives program Kenes group announced last year, intending to expand to Latin America, the Middle East region and Asia-Pacific.
The Kenes group was founded in Tel Aviv in 1965 and has worked in more than 3,000 conferences held in more than 100 cities and exceeding 120,000 participants per year.
The company has a team of more than 300 professionals in 29 offices in four continents.
