DECO launches mobile app for tourists in Porto

DECO, the Portuguese consumer protection association, has created a mobile application for tourists visiting Porto, called Appy Tourist, which will help those who visit the city to complain about any of the services provided.
The application, which has been available since July 12th, has been promoted by the northern DECO section and allows tourists to access information that enables them to act in defense of their rights as consumers.
This app was developed by the University of Porto and covers areas such as accommodation, transport, shopping, restaurants, tourist circuits, among others. It also has a live chat area for quick and personalised answers for tourists who need support.
It is available in Portuguese, English and French and will soon have Spanish and German versions. It can be downloaded both on Android and iOS systems.
