The International Conference on Management of Archaeological Sites in Urban Areas will take place in Almada, at the Fernando Lopes-Graça Auditorium, from 13th. to 15th. September 2021.
The event is organized by the Municipality of Almada, in partnership with the Center for Archeology of the University of Lisbon (UNIARQ), the Serra Henriques Foundation, the International Council of Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS-Portugal), the International Scientific Committee on Archaeological Heritage Management ( ICAHM) and PATRIMÓNIO.PT.
The Conference is intended to welcome good management practices, debates and to reflect on common problems in valuing and opening to the public archaeological sites integrated in urban areas.
Call for papers and posters will be opened until August 30th.
The event will take place in a hybrid format, so it is also possible to attend online.
Participation costs: General Public - 30€; Students - 15€; Online attendees - 10€.
