The second "Cities in History" International Congress, an event promoted by the Guimarães City Council, addresses the evolution of cities in different historical and geographical contexts, from the old city to the current city on its way to the future. "Society" is the congress's main theme and each session has a national and an international speaker. The debate ends with a round table on the City of the Future.
