Portugal won the World's Leading Destination award at the World Travel Awards in Vietnam. The competition also included Brazil, Greece, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Maldives, Morocco, New Zealand, Rwanda, South Africa, Spain, Sri Lanka, United States of America and Vietnam.
In addition, Lisbon was considered World's Leading City Break Destination and Madeira World's Leading Island Destination. Turismo de Portugal won the World's Leading Tourist Board award.
Sintra-Monte da Lua Parks won the World's Leading Conservation Company category, while the Pine Cliffs was awarded the World's Leading Luxury Leisure Resort award.
