The Portuguese Government has already published the order that approves the concession of its dependent services venues and real estate affected to the General Direction of Cultural Heritage (DGPC).

This law, order No. 2884/2018, of March 21st, "intends to review and update the applicable rules, namely establishing the criteria that should govern the assignment of venues under DGPC regulation", the document, published in Diário da República, reads.

The dispatch also states that "in authorised venues, cultural, social, academic, scientific, commercial, business, tourism or promotional events may take place."
