Portugal is hosting Michelin Gala

Portugal is hosting for the first time the MICHELIN Guide to Spain and Portugal presentation gala, a project with a public investment superior to 400 thousand euros. The event will take place at the Carlos Lopes Pavilion in Lisboa on November 21^st and will launch the 2019 edition of the famous guide. So far, this gala has been held in Spain.
Questioned by Lusa, Economy Minister Manuel Caldeira Cabral stated that "public support is slightly more than 400 thousand euros, from Entidade Regional de Promoção do Turismo de Lisboa and Turismo de Portugal, but the investment will be much greater, although also paying itself with the revenues this gala generates."
"It is an investment that comes to Lisboa, it is an investment in many people who will be here and that will generate a great return to the economy of both the city and the country," Manuel Caldeira Cabral stated.
